In this sequel to Stowe's famous novel 'My Wife and I', Harry and Eva continue their relationship in New York only to find their romance has never been quite so challenging. Skeptical of women's roles and their domestic positions, the story criticizes stale social norms. Lighthearted and entertaining, but also calling for a change, this is a delightful read reminiscent of other social critics such as Charles Dickens and Louisa May Alcott.
