On the parents who raised us as best they could.

On those who stayed by our side, and those we have lost forever.

We will talk about love, which can save us but also wound us.

About relationships that require more than beautiful words.

About forgiveness, which is a gift not so much to others as, above all, to ourselves.

We will talk about the past. About the fact that we can never change it.

About the present, which is the only time in which we can act.

And about a future that will be better not simply because we wish it to be, but because we choose to be better people today.

We will also touch on subjects that are not often discussed.

The questions most of us only begin to ask when we lose someone close to us. I do not offer definitive answers. I offer only my reflections, which may help you find peace too.

You will find a chapter on money and financial literacy. But not because money is the meaning of life. Quite the opposite. I discovered through my own experience what happens when we stop controlling money and allow it to control us. Money can make life easier, but it can never replace character, trust or the peace of mind that lets us sleep soundly.

We will also talk about rest.

About how today’s world constantly pushes us to run faster, work harder and prove our worth through performance. Yet we forget that we are not machines.

The soul needs quiet too.

The heart needs rest too.

Some pages may make you smile.

Others may make you reflect.

I do not need you to agree with me on everything. I will be glad if this book makes you think. Because questions change us more than ready-made answers do.
